The Department of Environmental Geography at the Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada, has long been committed to advancing research and academic collaboration in environmental resource management. As part of this commitment, the Department will organize The 7th International Conference on Environmental Resources Management in Global Region (ICERM) 2026.
This conference addresses increasingly complex global challenges, including climate change, resource pressure, and rapid socio-economic transformation. These dynamics significantly impact spatial systems, urban development, and ecosystem sustainability. To manage these issues effectively, there is a critical need for strong, adaptive, and spatially informed management. Consequently, ICERM 2026 focuses on strengthening governance and ensuring the responsible utilization of environmental resources across all scales.
