YISEC (Yorkshire Innovation in Science and Engineering Conference) is an annual event that brings together postgraduate research (PGR) students from universities in Yorkshire, including Huddersfield, York, Hull, Bradford, and York St John. This year, the University of Huddersfield hosts the conference.

How to Submit (Paper and Poster)
All submissions for YISEC 2026 (both Papers and Posters) are managed centrally through the EasyChair platform. Please follow the steps below to submit your work:
Step 1: Create an EasyChair Account
If you do not already have an EasyChair account, you will need to create one first. You can register for free on the EasyChair homepage (https://easychair.org/).
Note: Please ensure you use an email address you check regularly, as all conference updates will be sent there.
Step 2: Access the YISEC 2026 Submission Page
Click on our official conference submission link, and log in using your EasyChair credentials.
Step 3: Start a "New Submission"
Once logged in, click on the "New submission" tab located in the main menu at the top of the page. If prompted to select a track, please choose either the "Paper" or "Poster" track depending on your submission type.
Step 4: Fill Out the Submission Form
You will be asked to provide the following details:
- Author Information: Enter the details for all co-authors.
- Important: You must check the box to identify at least one author as the "Corresponding Author" so we can contact you.
- Title and Abstract: Enter the title of your paper/poster and an abstract (up to 200 words).
- Keywords: Please enter at least three keywords describing your research. Ensure you put one keyword per line, and do not use commas to separate them.
- File Upload: Upload your finalised document (using the template provided) as a PDF.
- Important: You may submit your initial submission without uploading your file before the abstract deadline. You can then upload your file by the final submission deadline.
Step 5: Submit
Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. Once successful, you will be able to view and manage your submission under the "My submissions" tab in the main menu.
